Okay, its about time for a happy, less yucky post! Today Beth and James got new haircuts. It was James' first real haircut, so it was quite an exciting adventure. We go to a place called cookie cutters, which is basically a godsend for kids haircuts. Beth absolutely LOVES going there and getting her haircut, she's been talking about it for a week or more, and since they both needed cuts, and we all desperately needed to get out of the house, today was the day! I forgot to take the camera, dang it! So I didn't get the cute shots of them sitting in the special chairs. (Beth's was a cute pink car and James sat in a little red car made especially for their smallest clientèle). They both did really well, no tears or fussing whatsoever, that's the beauty of this place! I tried to get some good pictures when we got home, but they weren't really cooperating, but here's the best I got!
They always do Beth's hair so cute. I'm not great at doing her hair, but luckily with all those curls I don't have to do much most days.
And since my recent posts have been lacking in pictures, here are a few adorable ones of James a few days ago. He loves to play under the piano for some reason, even though it has caused more than one head bonk. He had a really bad hair day that day too...its hard to see in these pictures, but he looked like a rooster all day!
As for the kids health...it seems to be much improved. I think Beth is just about over it and James is getting there. He's been keeping food down pretty consistently for the past 24 hours, and he slept pretty well last night (HALLELUJAH!). Looks like we survived another fun winter illness!
