2 and 1/2

That's right my little girl is 2 1/2 today. She is getting so big! Every time I look at her I can't believe how big she is. She's turning into this little girl. She talks CONSTANTLY. Sings little songs she makes up all the time and dances around. She has the most active imagination and is so loving. I've been feeling kind of yucky lately with the before mentioned root canal and migraine and she just keeps kissing me and hugging me and rubbing my face and telling me it'll be okay...what a sweetie. She drives me up the wall too, don't get me wrong, she is two. But really she has been in a pretty good place lately. And she is still the biggest ANGEL when it comes to sleeping. She sweetly and happily skips to bed at nap time and bedtime and climbs in bed with no complaint. Its the best! Happy half birthday Beth...he he.

On a side note, I totally caved on the bottle thing yesterday. Since I was feeling miserable and James was already cranky from teething, it was not a good day for cold turkey. He had one bottle less than usual and drank more milk from a cup than usual so we will call that progress and not beat ourselves up. We'll see how today goes, it is going to be a very busy day so it might distract him, or might make him want a bottle more, I'll have one in back up just in case...it really won't be the end of the world if we have to wait a little longer until I'm feeling better at least, right??

On yet another side note, our backyard is almost done!!!! The landscapers did their work in 3 days last week and got the weeds out (no small task) the sprinklers in, two loads of beautiful topsoil down, and cement curbing in. Its lovely! This morning the sod was delivered!! Yay! Tonight we are having a sod laying party (if you feel like getting your hands dirty you are all invited :) ) and then we will have beautiful grass. I will finally have a place that the kids can play! I've been shopping around for swing sets and climbers and such the last week or two and its been a bit of a frustrating search, but hopefully soon we'll find what we want. I've found two things I like but both of them so far are only available online (that I can find anyway) and I would have to pay over $300 shipping, that's a big waste of money if you ask me...so we're still hunting. Anyway, I will post pictures soon. Our computer is on death's door I think and still doesn't like to let me download pictures from our camera, so sorry, but I will try and get some of the yard soon at least!

I wish you would have called us, or that I would have checked your blog earlier - we totally would have come helped lay sod! How did it go?
