Since there is some interest in the pie I mentioned earlier, here is the recipe...
It's called Sour Cream Apple Pie, don't let that fool you, some people think that sounds like a bad combination, but it is really NOT. Its DELICIOUS!

3/4 C. Sugar
2 Tbs. Flour
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 egg
1 C. Sour Cream
Apple slices (I use golden delicious...but whatever you like)

1/2 C. Butter
1/2 C. Flour
1/2 C. Sugar
1 tsp. Cinnamon

Fill pie shell with apples, mix the rest of the ingredients until smooth and pour over apples. Bake at 400 degrees for 35 minutes. Sprinkle with topping and cook 10 more minutes.

I like it served warm, but lots of people like it cold too. I am not generally a pie person, particularly not apple pie, but this pie changed my mind about pie (the recipe came from my sister Doneen, who is the best cook I know, besides my mom of course)! My in-laws now request me to bring it to family gatherings, and my sister-in-law Tina takes it as payment when she babysits for us. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

I use Granny Smith. So yummy! We just ate the last piece of leftover pie last night. It was sad.

Ha ha, that's so funny! I was thinking in my mind, "can it really be better than the sour cream apple pie that I made this year?"

So now I guess I need to make your recipe and see if it's better than the one I already have.

Small world.
