Storage!!

My wonderful Father-in-law built us shelving units for our new storage room, and over the last couple of weeks, he and Ryan have installed them. Last night, Ryan and I decided it was time to load up those babies! It feels SO good to know where some of our stuff is now! We still have work to do for sure to get the basement organized, but we got most of the boxes and totes and food put away. Its glorious! I like looking at the food storage shelves, they make me feel like I have at least a little food storage, I had thought we didn't have much left because I haven't been buying much since we started work on the basement cause we had no place for it, but now it has a place! And there is still LOTS of room. I love it. Here are some preliminary pictures to enjoy.

Don't you just love that 90% of my storage boxes are Huggies boxes? Tells a little something about my life...

I was going to ask if you thought you had enough diapers Di? Hopefully Caleb will be into regular underwear soon so it'll just be Skyler, which will be nice to just have one again!

I am so jealous of the space!I also know where to go if I need diapers:) I have rice under AJ's dresser, sugar under Maddie's bed, canned beans under AJ's bed and more rice under mine:) I have a cold storage but once pregnant I won't be able to turn sideways and get in:) To have a whole room for storage....

Awesome storage room! Ha ha about the diapers. I always feel like I'm running out! You can never have too many.

A little insight into my crazy. I thought about using diaper boxes for storage, but then I thought that little mice or bugs could sneak in the handle holes on the sides and live in it. That freaked me out.

I actually don't like using diaper boxes because of the holes, but the shelves are tight fits, so hopefully all will be well. My dream is to some day have all matching totes. Ahhh. But hopefully after I get pregnant next time we'll be getting rid of a lot of those boxes anyway.

Diane, Ilove it! What a difference to have such wonderful shelving and easy access to your supplies. Right now in the apartment we are living in, we would have a hard time survivng 2 days! Oh well I guess you can survive two days fasting!!!
