I just need everyone to know that my ultrasound is in less than two weeks! I thought I had to wait four more. I am thrilled. I am impatient. I am so excited! I love seeing all the little baby parts and finally knowing if its a boy or girl. And I love that afterward I can FINALLY make Ryan discuss baby names and my plans for the nursery. :) That's our deal!

Now for your viewing pleasure, here are a couple of bellyshots. The first is 11 weeks, the next two are today, 16 weeks...and yes, before anyone asks again, we're pretty sure there is only one in there! (And please ignore the bad hair days and the no make-up thing. I'm dressed and showered in all of these pictures. That's as good as you get!)

I'm way behind on the blog. My life has been one big hectic adventure the last few weeks. Now that I'm starting to feel better and the wedding I was planning is over, I should finally have time for my life again!

Quick recap. Two weeks ago Ryan left town on business for a week. It was crazy and I definitely came to appreciate even more all that my husband does around here! While he was gone we hosted a birthday party for my mom with my whole family (the Utahns anyway).

The last two weeks have been busy with wedding preparations. Ryan's brother Brent has been waiting 16 long months for his bride Amanda to get her visa and join us in America. She finally came about 3 1/2 weeks ago so we rushed to plan the sealing, luncheon and reception. It was a fun but exhausting project. After a little drama it turned out really well. The reception looked beautiful and the family and friends gathered, and most importantly Brent and Amanda are finally together and sealed for time and all eternity! Hooray! (Side note- I felt the baby move the first fairly distinct time while in the sealing room during the ceremony, very cool). I thought I had some pictures of the centerpieces I made, but I can't find them. I will do a post with some of the wedding pictures once my wonderful friend Nikkie gets them too me, she was FABULOUS! Thanks again Nikkie!

Other than that life has just been same ol' same ol' around here. I'm trying to not get buried by laundry and other house work, while trying to be an okay mom. I'm trying to get the kids out in the sunshine as much as I can handle (with headaches still being an issue) so we can soak it up before Winter hits before long. Here are a few pictures from a recent picnic at the park.

Happy Birthday, Mom!!

Today is my mom's birthday. I love you mom! You are the best! I can't wait to celebrate tonight with the family. I wish there was a perfect way to honor you, but there isn't, so for now a short blog post and a party will have to do! :) Have a great day!
