4 months already?!

Today is Kate's 4 month birthday! I can't believe it, time flies. She is still so tiny for one my kids. Here are her stats:

Weight: 12 lbs. 2 oz. (19%)
Height: 23 3/4 inches (34%)
Head: 16.1 inches (52%)

In comparison, Beth was 15 lbs. 4 oz. and 25 1/2 inches at 4 months, and James was a whopping 18 lbs. 7 oz. and 27 inches! That is 50% heavier! But I'm loving her littleness. She's so sweet. We're hoping she handles the shots better than last time...its a busy weekend! Tomorrow is the Larson Cup, our family triathlon!! I'll post about that later!

A Few Happenings...

I've been such a blog slacker lately, so here is a quick catch-up.

We went to the zoo last friday with our good friends the Brumfields. It was great fun. I realized how horribly out of shape I am when I could barely push the stroller up the big hill. Although, I did have a baby strapped to me, and the stroller was full of stuff and 70 lbs of kid! It was a perfect zoo weather day and the kids were so excited to get out of the house. I was proud of myself for having a real outing with all three kids and surviving!

Today Beth started her new dance school. She is SO excited! This is the first real dance classes she's taken, she's done a few community things, but this is a real dance school. Its also where she is going to go to preschool this fall. I love the teachers I've met and I am really excited about the opportunity it is for her. She was so brave, some of the other little girls were nervous and wanted their mom's to stay, Beth told me to go home! Today they start with ballet and Thursday is tap and tumbling. So much fun. I hope she loves it, because I love watching her get involved. I always wanted to be a dancer so I'm doing that live vicariously through my children thing!

And because a blog post would not be complete without a picture of Kate, here she is sitting up on the couch, she loves sitting like this with the big kids! And I also think this picture really shows how much she looks like James, I didn't even realize until I saw it. She is teething already and is totally miserable, I'm hoping she's doing better today than yesterday, man was she a grump!! Luckily she's still the cutest thing ever so we love her anyway!
