We had a fun Easter this year. Pretty low key, but lots of fun none the less. Saturday morning we had an Easter breakfast at the church, Easter Egg hunt and all. The kids loved it. It was fun to see Kate participating in the activities, since she was only a few weeks old for her first Easter. She went dressed as the Easter bunny all day. :)
That evening we had a barbecue and Easter egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Owen's house. The kids love all the cousins, it was fun.
Easter morning the kids woke up to their Easter baskets, they seemed to love them. Then we ate breakfast cake and got all decked out for church. Kate only made an appearance to Sacrament meeting because she woke up with a fever, as you can probably tell from the rosy cheeks in the pictures! But after all the stress that went into choosing Easter outfits (seriously, it was a headache this year!) she had to show off a little before spending the day napping. Poor thing just can't stay well! She had RSV the previous weekend, but that's a story for another time!
I hope you all had a wonderful Easter too! I'm grateful for my Savior and all he did for me. He lives!
